Aryna Sabalenka
Sabalenka was who was born in Minsk (the capital of Belarus), is the daughter of Sergey. The father of her Sergey (d. 2019) was an athlete in ice hockey. Aryna Sabalenka was born on May 5th, 1998, in Minsk Belarus. In her career she has been awarded 12 WTA singles titles including the Grand Slam at the 2023 Australian Open. As a doubles player, she's an excellent player. She has won two majors along with Elise Mertens, The US Open in 2019 and the Australian Open in 2021. In 2019, she won two majors, the WTA 1000 and Miami Open in Indian Wells with her Belgian Partner, who completed the Sunshine Double. Only four women's doubles couples win this title. It was only four couples that achieved this feat when playing women's doubles. The same year she won at Melbourne, and after that moved up to number one worldwide in doubles. Dmitry Tursunov, a former Russian tennis player, was her coach her from the 2018 season until the end and part of her 2020 campaign. Dieter Kindlmann also served as the coach she had for a short period during the months of August through September 2020. She is being trained by her fellow countryman Antonio Dubrov since the end of 2020. Serena Williams and Maria Sharapova were her idols.
